Amber, CEO & Founder of Zyvka, has always been interested in startups and growth. After spending around a decade in working across various industries like banking, finance, and telecom, he found his calling in the HR and recruitment industry.

Amber’s first foray into startups was with an HR Tech startup – Aspiring Minds (now part of SHL). There, he not only set up business & operations in the Philippines but also went on to grow the SE Asia geography. In this role, he was responsible for establishing & scaling the business, as well as hiring, training, and managing a team of sales & account managers. In his time at Aspiring Minds, he helped the company achieve significant growth & success in the region and this experience in an HR startup gave him a unique perspective on how to build & scale businesses effectively from scratch.

He gained valuable experience in setting up and growing a business in a new country. This experience would come in handy when he later joined Waverly, a Bay area startup in the US, where he set up and led the business as Head of US Sales.

His work in the Bay are California HR teams saw him being invited to join the Board of a non-profit organization – Bay Area group of Recruiters. The organization works towards improved institutional collaborations and fostering robust mentorship programs. He is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and he believes that this is one way to do it. The Board members are all extremely dedicated to their work, and they have made a significant impact on the lives of many people.

Electronics engineer and MBA graduate, Amber has a lot of experience in building and leading business teams across different countries like India, the US, Europe, and the Philippines. His penchant for building strong teams, and setting up and scaling operations in global markets is well known. In his career so far, he has worn multiple hats – from working in startups to big corporates, in growth as well as turnaround situations. He believes that the right talent on the right team can make all the difference in achieving efficiencies and Scale.

Currently, he is on a mission to help startups build their dream team to achieve their growth goals efficiently. Through Zyvka, he helps connect startups with the right talent to fuel their growth.
