Easy Knowledge and i-Hub Gujarat Host “Rising Bharat 2024” in Ahmedabad, Facilitating Vital Support for Startups

Easy Knowledge, a dynamic community driven by peer knowledge, partnered with i-Hub Gujarat and Fluid Ventures to successfully organize the “Rising Bharat 2024 – Ahmedabad Edition” at i-Hub Ahmedabad. The event, held over two days on 12th and 13th July, gathered more than 14 prominent Venture Capitalist Funds, aiming to provide crucial pitching and funding opportunities to promising startups. Among over 100 applicants, 20 outstanding startups were selected to participate in this transformative initiative.

The event commenced with opening remarks from Mr. Amit Singal, Founding Partner of Fluid Ventures, and Mr. Hiranmay Mahanta, CEO of i-Hub Gujarat. The inaugural session also featured an address by Mr. Hasmukh Adhia, setting a tone of enthusiasm and support for the burgeoning startup community.

“Fund My Venture 4.0” served as a pivotal platform where startups connected directly with investors, fostering potential long-term partnerships. The event attracted a distinguished lineup of investors including Mr. Sharad Bansal (Warmup Ventures), Mr. Bhavish Sood (Modulor Capital), Mr. Mayuresh Raut (Seafund), Mr. Dishank Shah (Rogue Opportunities), Mr. Gaurav Thakkar (Rockstud Capital), Ms. Gauri Kuchhal (Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund), Ms. Aditi Garg (Signal Ventures), Mr. Giridhar Malpani (Takshil Venture Partner),Mr. Amit Singh (Misfits Capital), Mr. Sahil Kumrah (growX Ventures), Mr. Dhianu Das (Agility Ventures), Cdr Navneet Kaushik (Jamwant Ventures Angel Fund). Mr. Pranay Mathur (Realtime Angel Fund) and others, who actively engaged with the selected startups. This interactive session highlighted the depth of interest and commitment from the investor community towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

A special focus on empowering women founders was embodied in “SHE Founders Launchpad 3.0”, featuring workshops led by Mr. Amal PS and CA Swati Singhania. The sessions, attended by over 50 women entrepreneurs, provided insights into enhancing operational efficiency, presentation skills, and navigating investor interactions effectively.

“Talktail 6.0” featured engaging panel discussions moderated by experienced leaders such as Mr. Durga Prasad, CEO of AIC Nalanda, covering pertinent topics crucial to startup growth and sustainability. The interactive sessions offered valuable perspectives and actionable insights for all participants.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Mr. Hiranmay Mahanta, CEO of i-Hub Gujarat, emphasized that Rising Bharat underscores Gujarat’s vibrant startup ecosystem, offering unparalleled exposure and opportunities for emerging ventures to secure vital funding and mentorship.

On the second day, a Round Table discussion was convened with Shri Mukesh Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat, where strategies to enhance the state’s startup ecosystem were deliberated upon. The event also facilitated personalized one-on-one meetings between investors and startups, further nurturing the relationships forged during the event.

The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude expressed by Mr. Amit Singal to all participants for their active involvement and significant contributions towards making “Rising Bharat” a resounding success.
