Federation of Indian Industry Celebrates 75th Independence Day with in 12 countries

The 75th Independence Day of India was celebrated on 15th August 2021 through an Online Virtual mode.
The event commenced with a welcome note immediately followed by unfurling of the National flag by the Guest of Honour Ch. Birender Singh, Former Union Minister of India, and followed by playing of the Indian National Anthem.
The program commenced with a brief note by the Director-General Mr. Deepak Jain. He set the theme for the celebrations of New India…Shining India and talked about the current positioning of Indian Industry and economy. He also explained how FII is committed to taking India into the new world order with its global presence and several verticals of activities.
The limelight of the event was the address by Maj Gen GD Bakshi, Chairperson Water Resources Committee. Gen Bakshi talked about the strategic war that India and the world may face. The era of biological warfare has come and we must gear up for the same. This was followed by the launch of his book Thunder Dragon. Mentioning his book Gen Bakshi narrated that it is an entirely fictional account of a hypothetical scenario that is chillingly probable and based on detailed research & analysis regarding the Covid 19 as a probable or deliberately released part of a biological warfare attack designed to cause disarray and collapse of nations & set them up for military strikes and economic devastation? “What if scenario” of – was COVID-19 a Biological Warfare first strike and how exactly it could have happened in China. He sequentially explained the possible chronological events that led to the spread of the Covid virus in the world through the Chinese Wuhan Institute.
The Independence Day virtual event witnessed the launch of the Newsletter and going through its achievements. The Country heads of Chapters from 35 countries were Introduced during the event. An overwhelming presence of and the Pravasi Bhartiya community reflected the enthusiasm. The presence of international diaspora from Australia, Germany, Thailand, Bangkok is of significant mention.
The keynote address by Ch. Birender Singh talked about how after Independence India rose to economic power and how is it exponentially rising to be the superpower. He said that the biggest achievement is being the largest democracy. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech today, Ch. Birender Singh said that to achieve the goals this time we should work together. All-inclusive politics and introspection on past failures are the keys to the road ahead. He also said that being a farmer he knows what is needed to succeed. How we were successful during Covid times is all due to our collective efforts.
The program was conducted by Chairperson International Affairs Committee Mr. Hitender Mehta who welcomed the guests and introduced the country heads. Mr. Uditendu Verma, chairperson CSR presented the achievements of FII. Dr. Shailendra Vyas, Vice President FII shared the Vote of Thanks.
