In their august presence, awards were distributed to over fifty entrepreneurs under varied categories whose credentials were scrutinized by GIBF’s panel of judges using stringent criterions. The primary motive of these awards, as also the event itself was to highlight the accomplishments of the entrepreneurs in the MSME sector who it is being predicted would carry the mantle of India’s industrialization and GDP to newer heights in days to come. These awards and their timing are pertinent as they highlight the sector’s tenacity towards growth even in the face of tough times like the present pandemic while bringing forth great products and services, and employment to youth from needy backgrounds.

Included among the awardees were fair shares of women entrepreneurs who despite obvious hindrances led their industrial units from the front. Also present were those whose efforts resonate the Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi’s clarion call of ‘Atmanirbhar’ and whose efforts shall surely make India self-reliant in critical areas in the future.

Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale was all praises for Global India Business Form and its award-giving initiative, which he said shall motivate and encourage businesses, especially in the MSME sector to perform to their best abilities despite situation including the Covid-10 pandemic.
