In the presence of Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi , Pataa Navigations & Indian National Space Promotion& Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) have signed an MoU for enabling access to ISRO’s Geospatial Services & APIs for the development of the Addressing system in Ahmedabad, Gujarat at the Inauguration of In-Space Headquarters.

This is a historical moment for the country as it is a massive step forward towards Atma Nirbhar Bharat, the dream of PM Narendra Modi and every Indian, more so as both In-Space and Pataa are indigenous brands.

With the coming together of both these brands, India can look forward to a better addressing system, the lack of which costs the country a whopping loss of 75,000 crores annually.

The Department of Space has been monumental in the use of geospatial technologies in the country through its activities in aerial and satellite data acquisition, data supply, mapping, applications and nationwide operational projects like Bhuvan, VEDAS, MOSDAC etc.

DoS has also played a major role in the setting up of a large number of State-level remote sensing application Centres and their data repositories, with spatial analytics portals that help respective State Governments in addressing specific issues at the State level.

Pataa has developed an App for enabling users to create unique customized shortcodes for their long and complex addresses with added features like voice directions, precise geotagged location, route suggestions, landmark selection, photos and more.

Pataa will head in bringing an addressing revolution in India by enabling people to have satellite image-based digital addresses. The collaboration would be for the services of ISRO portals, namely Bhuvan, VEDAS, and MOSDAC through this MoU.

Both parties are interested in evolving indigenous addressing solutions by exchanging a combination of satellite imagery/maps and address systems through ISRO portals. This alliance will be beneficial for geo boundary which in turn will benefit rural India by making loans, seeds, tech facilities etc. available to the rural population. Apart from that last mile reach for E-Commerce, loan facilities, and quick reach of an ambulance will be availed by all.

Talking about working with ISRO & InSpace, Mr. Rajat Jain, Co-Founder shares, “This is an exciting opportunity. We are looking forward to working with the highly-proficient scientists of India to bring an address revolution.”

Speaking at the In-Space HQ inauguration The Prime Minister said “When the strength of government institutions and the passion of India’s private sector will meet, not even the sky will be the limit”
