Tanmai Paul is the Co-Founder and Head of Product at Bolo Live, a creator economy platform democratizing monetisation for content creators through interactive live streaming; empowering the fans to come closer to their favorite creators in live social gaming and entertainment categories.
Born in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh in India, Tanmai did her Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Delhi. Her key role at Bolo Live is to create a seamless user journey, build hooks within the product to enhance user engagement and retention, and come up with new features to bolster the microtransactions on the platform to amplify the monetization opportunities for both content creators and consumers.
She has over 5 years of work experience across sectors including B2C EdTech, B2B Artificial Intelligence, and Consumer Internet sectors. She started off her career with Varun Saxena at his first startup, Career Anna, where she was heading Digital Marketing and focusing on user acquisition and building a strong sales funnel with efficient unit economics.
Later, she joined Bobble AI, Krafton and Elevation Capital-funded vernacular keyboard company and was heading Content Marketing. She led and executed campaigns to enhance the female audience reach by over 120%, and worked closely with the Product Team to launch special women-focused AI stickers to take content engagement up by close to 40%.
During the same course of time, Tanmai identified her entrepreneurial spirit and with her strong understanding of the content preferences of users, she decided to join the Bolo Live co-founding team as Head of Product.
In addition to work, Tanmai loves socializing, gymming, swimming, reading, listening to podcasts, and traveling across different places during her leisure time.
