The story of Gush Hair began in 2020, in the time of the pandemic when people were losing their jobs or businesses; these two women were busy making their dream come true.
Shreya is a twenty-nine years old teacher specialized in Foreign Languages with over five years of experience in teaching.
Gunjan is also of the same age and a dance artist trained at Broadway Dance Center Newyork (BdNYC) with over a decade of experience and is currently associated with Nritya Shakti Institute as a Latin fusion dance faculty.
They always had the idea that they wanted to do something unconventional together and always had in mind that whatever they would do, it would be different. Shreya and Gunjan always dreamt of having a business of their own that would bring revolution in someone’s lifestyle and be financially independent, so they started Gush Hair.
Gush is the acronym of the names of the founders, Gunjan and Shreya.
They knew they were different and understood how to stand out among masses. They wanted to make every woman feel confident and embrace herself as they did. Hence, they started a business of hair extensions.

They are kind of a friend to a woman who loves to try different hair colors, hairstyles and give herself a new look every day. Shreya and Gunjan commenced their business through an online platform.
Gush Hair got over two thousand followers with over two million engagements almost every day on Instagram within six months of time and has tapped over twenty-five cities PAN India. They now have a customer base of 250+ people with a turnover of over three lakhs.
They now wish to expand their horizons and propose their venture to investors who would really like to invest in their startup and unfold the dynamics of the lifestyle industry with a cheaper, easily accessible, and approachable premium quality brand.
They intend on expanding their brand Internationally, starting with Gulf countries like UAE, US, Canada and, then keep on growing their brand further.
The idea of starting a business easily appealed and looked easy to Shreya and Gunjan and, like any other entrepreneurs, they had their own hardships and complications. But their sheer determination, courage, and confidence to prove and establish themselves as successful women entrepreneurs made them overcome every hurdle in their way.
