Plotch.ai, the rails infrastructure startup for the Open Network Digital Commerce (ONDC), has successfully raised funding in a pre-seed led by Antler India, with participation from Peak XV, Global Founders Capital, and Apoletto. The startup plans to utilize the funds to enhance its ONDC product suite as a Technology Services Provider (TSP) within the emerging ONDC ecosystem.
Plotch.ai’s Mission and Founding Team
Manoj and Monica Gupta founded Plotch.ai in 2020. Plotch.ai aims to facilitate the setup of node infrastructure, node-to-node payments, and network grievance management on the ONDC through its product suite. The founders of Craftsvilla.com are behind this initiative. The startup offers five key products, including NodeApp, Nodepay, Nodedesk, Nodebox, and the ONDC accelerator.
Empowering Companies to Join ONDC
Plotch.ai has already assisted 15 companies, including Meesho, IDFC First Bank, Paytm, Spice Money, and Ideamasters, in joining the ONDC network. The startup boasts a pipeline of over 100 additional companies expected to join ONDC in the next six months. These companies collectively aim to empower 500 million customers. 100 million SMEs in India to conduct transactions on the ONDC network.
Innovative Solutions for ONDC Adoption
Plotch.ai offers several products. NodeApp enables the instantiation of buyer and seller apps using a three-layer solution. Nodepay facilitates node-to-node network payments. Nodedesk functions as an ONDC-enabled CRM product, useful for managing customer grievances. Nodebox integrates voice AI into ONDC. It enables multilingual voice-based buying and selling. This is particularly beneficial for smaller cities and villages. Additionally, the ONDC accelerator, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, accelerates ONDC adoption among startups worldwide.
ONDC’s Growth and Future Prospects
ONDC is operational in B2C and B2B retail, logistics, and mobility sectors in 250+ cities. It processes over 50,000 transactions daily. Since its beta launch in September 2022, the government’s digital commerce network has surpassed one million retail orders and five million mobility orders. Plotch.ai’s innovative solutions and support will enable ONDC to scale its network further and revolutionize commerce, logistics, mobility, and fintech domains.
