He gives no rest days new meaning and packs in the universe in 24 hours: brands meetings, creative solutions, strategy, team management and basically running the ship, all this while being a dedicated father, staying on top of his fitness routine and owning a football team at the Roots Premier League. But working overdrive is routine for Kapil. He’s been in the publishing industry for over two decades and was previously the creative and fashion director for Rolling Stone and MW—creating content and advertorials for the likes of Zegna, Gucci, Tod’s and Calvin Klein. In 2016, he started a niche creative studio, helping fashion houses create commercial campaigns. In 2020, he launched d’hybrid to tap into the hugely under-serviced men’s fashion and grooming digital segment, with every intention of disrupting the market. 

d’hybrid is India’s first men’s-only fashion and grooming app that offers commerce spanning the menswear market—global mainstream brands, local hype labels and daily dressing solutions—as well as personal care products for hair, face, beard and body. Alongside commerce runs intelligent, bite-sized content that addresses India’s savvy urban male population who want to stay on the pulse of what’s trending, besides just simply shopping for it. Soon to come is an AR feature that will be a first-of-its kind commerce experience in the country.  

Modelled on the idea that fashion e-commerce in India is far too cluttered with very little visibility given to men, d’hybrid is well on its way to becoming one of India’s premier men’s apps with a slick UI/UX and seamless navigation.
