Tell us about the Company’s Vision and Mission.:

Vision: To be the market leader in Early Childhood Education by providing ever-evolving teaching methodology and curriculum, to add value for our partner institutions and all other stakeholders.

Mission: Our mission is to respond to the call of creating the emerging leaders of tomorrow. We are committed to impacting a synergy of skills, knowledge, and values in our little children to lend them their inner voice for the 21st century.

What are the top priorities for the organization in the coming year?

To expand our base to all zone in India with 300 + centers by 2025, besides strengthening our regional presence with regional offices at 7 metros/state capitals and then move to the K12 segment by 2026.

What kind of culture does the company need going forward, and what steps are you taking to create it?

We are workings towards the most professional corporate culture in our company and targeting to become one of the most sought preschool companies among working professionals. We have already started delegating things and hiring professionals in various domains to strengthen the organization in a robust manner.

What do you consider to be the main difficulties you confront in managing a preschool?

The most important part of our pre-schools are the teachers and counsellors as they are the ones who make the preschool as most preferred preschool among parents by their affection, determination, and love towards kids. The most difficult part of the Challenge is to get these good staff and retain them considering the heavy demand in the education sector.

How do you ensure that your preschool provides children with a safe and nurturing environment?

We have standard laid-down SOPs in place all across our centers which facilitates one of the safest places for young kids. Regular training for our staff and supporting staffs add to these aspects.

What do you think is the most important thing parents should know about choosing a preschool?

The quality of staff, their past experience, and existing parents’ feedback besides the person at the helm of the school affairs. The school’s staff must be easily available for the parents besides the school culture should be that they always stand for the kids.

What type of business culture are you hoping to create? What actions would you take to encourage it at work?

We are into service sectors and the parent ( in a corporate culture we call them customers) is the actual driving force for our business. So we are developing our organizational culture which revolves around kids. if the kids are happy with Makoons, automatically our parents will be satisfied, and being a referral business, we will not have any issues with new customers. So our staff are trained in the fashion that ‘ PARENTS ARE THE SUPREME “
