Building upon the fascination, enigma, and charm of fashion, Veirdo began its incredible journey in September of 2016, with just four employees in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The brand was founded by Mr. Amardeep Jadeja, Mr. Piyush Ganatra and Mr. Dhaval Ahir, who happened to have one dream in common. The passion and vigor to make it big in the e-commerce space. While they had no experience in the retail space, each possessed immense knowledge of the technical sphere, which helped them to thoroughly understand the makings of bankable online shopping and marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart. And hence the trio set out on their fruitful entrepreneurial venture. This is also what gave the brand its unique name Veirdo, as it symbolized partners from different backgrounds and experiences coming together to create something huge. The perfect example of a ‘weird’ yet dynamic team working closely together.

 

Scaling up rapidly in a short span of time, the brand received remarkable sales in the first month and has never stopped since. Despite heavy competition, the brand steadily rose the rungs and in September 2017, its sales increased by 25 times higher than the year of its inception. Veirdo has been all about boldly experimenting and bringing the best of the fashion world to today’s online consumers. While it started off with only Men’s T-shirts, in 2019, overwhelmed with the positive response for its best-in-class offerings, Veirdo proceeded to create a women’s fashion line, called Juneberry, in April 2019.  The apparel line was an instant hit, thanks to the brand’s commitment towards creativity and eye for fashion trends and has reached a revenue of INR 20 crores in 2019-2020. With all major departments such as sales, operation, procurement, and production together working in alignment towards one common vision, Veirdo has been steadily reaching for the skies.

 

In 2020 -2021, Veirdo has already surpassed INR 25 crores of revenue due to the pandemic triggered online demand. Veirdo has been constantly re-inventing itself to suit the market needs of the hour and this was proved when they started manufacturing PPE Kits amidst the lockdown, selling over 6,00,000 kits. All of this was possible due to the relentless support of its employees, the expertise of the management and software-based quick turnaround processes.

 

With the vision to provide the trendiest apparel in town, Veirdo & Juneberry has quickly become a crowd favorite. Today, Veirdo is one of the trendiest fashion start-ups in the country and is known for its quality, variety, and value for money while they continue creating memorable consumer experiences.
